Sow Easy seeds are pelleted with a natural coating made from a mixture of clay, perlite, and FDA-approved food coloring. This coating provides several benefits for gardeners, including:

  1. Improved seed handling: The coating adds bulk to small seeds, making them easier to handle and sow accurately. This is especially helpful for gardeners with limited dexterity or those sowing very small seeds.

  2. Enhanced visibility: The coating stands out in the soil, making it easier to see where you've planted the seeds. This can help prevent over- or under-sowing and ensure more accurate spacing.

  3. Eco-friendliness: The coating is made from natural materials and is biodegradable, making it an environmentally friendly option for gardeners.

However, it's important to note that the coating does add a few extra days to the germination time when compared to uncoated seeds. This is because the coating must first soften and break down before the seed can germinate. So, if you're using Sow Easy seeds, you may need to be a little more patient and wait a bit longer for your seeds to sprout.

Additionally, all fruit seeds used by Miliipops are purchased organically. This ensures that the seeds are free of harmful chemicals and additives, and are grown and harvested using sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
